Winter
is a great time to cozy up in one of Missoula’s many coffee shops and watch the
falling snow with a good book or good company. In the summertime, stay cool in
these hot-spots in town known for hip ambiance and a constant ebb and flow of
visitors. Here are a few of our favorite spots to grab a cup of hot (or cold!)
coffee in Missoula.
Drum Coffee
Drum
is located directly across the street from the Comfort Inn which makes it a
great spot to stop on your way into town. Owned by the drummer of Fitz and the
Tantrums, this is a cool spot with a great selection of coffee and fun, modern
music.
Black Coffee Roasting Co.
This quaint shop near Greenough Park serves up some delicious coffee sourced from around the world. There is no WiFi here, which means this is a great place to get lost in a book or to have meaningful, undistracted conversations with friends and family.

LPO
is located on Hip Strip in Missoula and is a fabulously fun place to grab a
delicious pastry and a piping hot cup of coffee or a latte. LPO is close to fun
shopping on the south side of Higgins.
Liquid Planet
Liquid Planet is a Missoula staple. Located in three locations, downtown on Higgins, on Arthur Street, and on Reserve Street, you can enjoy specialty coffee drinks and teas as well as sodas, smoothies, and more.

Wanting
a cup of coffee on the go while heading off to your next adventure? Montana is
known for its cute coffee huts. You can find one in most parking lots across
the city, and they serve up a great cup of Joe to-go!
